Devastating details emerge regarding Stephen Peat's cause of death
Some disturbing details emerge regarding the passing of former Washington Capitals enforcer Stephen Peat.
Former Washington Capitals enforcer Stephen Peat passed away this past week at the young age of 44.
Peat was originally drafted by the Anaheim ducks before being traded to the Capitals, while he was with the capitals he managed to play 130 NHL games with the organization. However, following his hockey career, he fell into hard times and even became homeless.
After the NHL Alumni Association announced his passing, many fans were concerned and curious as to how he passed away. Today, it was revealed by Elliotte Friedman and Justin Tasch of The New York Post that he passed away from injuries sustained after being hit by a car.
