Time to keep an eye out as New York Rangers top prospect Gabriel Perreault may be joining the Rangers organization sooner than expected, as Boston College has been eliminated from the Frozen Four tournament of the NCAA.
The 19-year-old right winger who was drafted by the Rangers in 2023, first round, 23rd overall has been viewed as one of the best prospects the Rangers have in their system, and be he faces a difficult choice regarding his future.
Recently reports have revealed that the New York Rangers would prefer for the star prospect to join the Hartford Wolf Pack once the NCAA tournament came to an end.
The son of former NHL player Yanic Perreault, has had a solid season at Boston Collage as he tallied 16 goals and 32 assists for a total of 48 points in just 37 games played, with a plus/minus of +30.

Add Gabe Perreault for the Rangers. Think there's already traction on that front.
The Rangers have felt that he is ready for the American Hockey League as the team will be ready to sign him to an entry level contract will begin in the 2025-2026 season and will likely be ready for the jump.
But the 19-year old also has the choice to sign an Entry-Level Contract right now, and join the New York Rangers for their last 8 games of the season, but if he does that then he burns one year off his three year ELC.
