Sean Avery sends harsh reality check to the New York Rangers after ending five-game losing streak
It's time for another New York Rangers hot-take from Sean Avery, as Avery released another take on "X".com. He chastised the team's effort, aside from the bottom six who have apparently set themselves apart.
Let's go back to October which saw him roast Miller for playing a "soft" game.
«Watch 79 white, K'Andre Miller,» Avery said. «Soft as a baby's (expletive), look at his play patty cakes right here. No finish and then he gets beat to the net. Watch him get beat to the net for a goal. Boom. Look at K'Andre Miller, 79 just fishing for pucks, he's a fisherman, get him a fisherman's license, just fishing, 79. 79 getting beat to the net, a fishing expedition.»
Now, it's pretty much the entire team he's sick of, as he accused Mika of being in his head, DJing in Ibiza, compared to being present on the ice.
It's evident that Sean Avery has no love for the team in its current form, and it's left a lot of New York Rangers fans skeptical of their abilities.
These Rangers STINK- Sean Avery
Avery's not wrong that they had trouble beating the Montreal Canadiens, as Trouba could barely handle a tilt with
Josh Anderson.
His solution involved hiring random coaches who may or may not be in the NHL including Scott Gomez, Steve Ott, and Ilya Kovalchuk.
Hire the "dogs", which just could be "enforcer" speak for old-school coaches.
Maybe while his criticism isn't 100% wrong, there could be some truth to glean from the harsh words from Avery.
The Rangers are still 13-9-1 and 4th in the Metropolitan Division and haven't been able to close a game against their rivals like the Carolina Hurricanes.
