Saturday morning the New York Rangers PR team on «X» announced a shocking roster transaction which seen goaltender
Dylan Garand being recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

Just a few minutes after that news was announced, several Rangers reporters revealed that 29-year old superstar goaltender Igor Shestekrin has suffered an upper-body injury and will likely be out for 1-2 weeks.

However, Sunday afternoon the New York Rangers announced another roster transaction, which saw goaltender Dylan Garand being reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
UPDATE: Dylan Garand has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
This move completely makes sense for the 22-year old netminder as he has been fire with the Wolf Pack this season, while posting a GAA of 2.68 and a save percentage of 0.913 in just 26 games played (12W, 7L, 4OT).
