The NHL playoffs are inching closer, with the final full month of the regular season offering the Rangers an up-close look at their top competition.
The month of March didn't start off strong with a 4-3 loss in a shootout to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but the Rangers still escaped with a point, and showed incredible resilience.
Jacob Trouba wanted to give credit on Matt Rempe's impact on the Rangers:
"He brings that physicality and that edge to his game that is good for our team."
There were a few run-ins between Rempe and Ryan Reaves throughout the game, with the latter chirping the former whenever he got the chance, and ended up being a fight in the final five minutes of the game.
But regardless, Rempe adds such a new level to the Rangers with his immense physicality that will bode well in the playoffs.
Looking forward to seeing what the kid will do when it matters most.
