Prior to social media and the power of the Internet, all NHL fans had no insider information from former players and current players about what they think of teams playing in the league.

Since the explosion of the podcasting industry, many former NHL players including Paul Bissonnette and Ryan Whitney of the Spitting Chiclets Have taken to the web and given fans a new look of the league.

During their recent podcast episode, Ryan Whitney revealed that an active NHL player who is currently in a playoff spot insults the Winnipeg Jets directly as they feel the team is a fraud and will be out within the first round.

This insult sent the guys over the edge as they reacted to what the player thinks and even leading to Ryan Whitney's confusion on what he thinks The Jets are.

It's safe to say those are very strong words from an active player and this interview will cause all kinds of speculation on who the player would be.

The player must have their reasons why they feel they are frauds even though the team has been having one of its best seasons since moving to Winnipeg.

Through 59 games, the team has a record of 38-16-5 with 81 points and a + 40 goal differential kid they also have a 21-7-2 home record and a 17-9-3 road record.

Of course, regular season stats don't mean too much when it comes to the playoffs, however, I feel that Winnipeg Jets our good team and we will see what will happen during the playoffs this year.
