Peter Laviolette facing major criticism regarding controversial move with Rangers power play units
New York Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette under fire following controversial decision during Thursday's practice and fans have had enough.
Fans have called out Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette for making a poor decision during todays practice, as he reveals there won't be any changes to the New York Rangers power play units despite their failure to execute during crucial moments.
Recently the New York Rangers have been failing to execute on the power play during critical moments, especially when they
faced the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday, January 26th as they were given an opportunity to take the lead as they went on power play with nearly two minutes left in regulation of a tied 4-4 game, but were unable to capitalize.
As of a result of their failed power play during a crucial moment the New York Rangers would go on to lose with just 14.7 seconds left of the game.
Since than fans have been expecting Peter Laviolette to take issue with the teams power play and make some changes as what they got now just isn't working.
However, during today's practice the power play units were revealed and still no changes were made, resulting in fans to be disappointed in Laviolette's decisions.
#NYR power plays are unchanged.
PP1: Panarin-Trocheck-Kreider-Zibanejad-Fox
PP2: Chytil-Miller-Cuylle-Smith-Lafrenière
Here is some of the reactions from fans who are disappointed that there hasn't been any changes:
It's it's completely broken why fix it
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Hopefully things get better for the Rangers power play units and they prove to everyone that no changes are needed, as they will likely get the chance
this Saturday against the Boston Bruins at 3:30pm.
