Peter Laviolette Addresses Media On Consistency With Defensive Pairs
The Rangers have been incredible for the past two months, garnering a 21-4-1 record since the all-star break.
It's even more impressive considering they have been dealing with injuries, especially on the defensive end. Jacob Trouba, Ryan Lindgren and Erik Gustafsson all missed substantial time last month.
The most consistent pair in Trouba's 11-game absence featured Miller and Schneider, who both responded well from the added responsibilities.
Head coach Peter Laviolette discusses the team's defensive pairs and how he has limited the changes to the lineup:
The Rangers have overcome many obstacles to be where they are today, which is first in the league, largely due to the masterful coaching of Laviolette.
I think we owe him the benefit of the doubt considering how well the team has played thus far.
