The Rangers still have three games left to conclude the 2023-24 regular season, with the Presidents' Trophy, No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and the Metropolitan Division title all in their control. They took a bit of a hit with Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Islanders, but it wasn't enough to knock them off the top of the league standings.

Unfortunately, not everyone seems convinced. Especially studio analyst Paul Bissonnette, who is suggesting the Rangers, winning the Presidents' Trophy, might curse them for the playoffs. Take a listen.

Let's hope his theories and conspiracies are as wrong as his predictions, like say, the Rangers outright missing the playoffs. Funny enough, as of 2023, the 2014-2015 Rangers are the most recent Presidents' Trophy winners to advance past the second round of the playoffs.
