New York Rangers top prospect Noah Laba has just revealed the gruesome repairs needed after he took a slap shot straight to the mouth on Monday night against the Minnesota Wild.
Back on Monday night, New York Rangers top prospect Noah Laba was faced with a very scary incident that caused him leave the game early afer taking a slapshot to the face from
Vinnie Hinostroza while defending on the penalty kill.
Noah Laba on for the PK has a shot by Hinostroza deflect off his stick and apparently get him in the face. He's being helped off the ice right now. Doesn't look good at all.
Truly a very terrifying scene at Madison Square Garden, here's a clip of the incident:
However, thankfully not long after the incident, Noah Laba managed to return to the Rangers bench, but was seen wearing a full face shield and obviously had a few repairs done to his face.
Wow. Laba is back on the #NYR bench with a bubble on.
Something that he had just recently shared on Saturday afternoon with Rangers insider Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
Noah Laba Reveals Gruesome Repairs Needed After Taking A Slapshot To The Face
Following the Rangers practice on Saturday afternoon, Noah Laba spoke will Mollie Walker and revealed that he needed to five stitches on the outside and three on the inside of his mouth, and thankfully didn't lose any teeth.
Just checked in with #NYR Noah Laba, who got five stitches on the outside and three on the inside of his mouth from that scary puck-to-the-face moment.
He genuinely thought he lost some of his bottom teeth, but thankfully they were all there!
Thankfully it was nothing more than just that, as he could've sustained a very serious injury.
