The Rangers Confirm Terrible News As Matt Rempe Sustains Injury Following Heated Altercation And Won't Return

Just after five minutes into the Rangers vs Sharks game, fan favourite enforcer Matt Rempe was forced to exit the game after being in a very heated altercation with Ryan Reaves of the San Jose Sharks.

Not long after Rempe headed to the Rangers dressing room to be evaluated by the teams trainer, where they made the ultimate decision to withhold Rempe from returning to the game for the second period.

Rempe did receive a few heavy blows to the head during his heated altercation, so it's very likely that he is being held out for the remainder of the game due to concussion protocol.
