New York Rangers superstar goaltender puts the blame on one individual following the teams tough 5-1 loss against the Calgary Flames on Monday night.
On Sunday night the New York Rangers faced off against the Calgary Flames, and somehow managed to take a 5-1 loss to a team who currently
ranks 32nd in the NHL Standings, and it's clear that no one is happy about it.
Something that has resulted in New York Rangers superstar goaltender, igor Shesterkin to put the blame on one individual, that person being himself. As he believes he didn't give the Rangers a fair chance to win on Sunday night.
According to Rangers Insider, Colin Stephenson of Newsday Sports, Igor Shesterkin strong believes that he's the one to blame for the their 5-1 loss against the Calgary Flames on Sunday night.
Igor Shesterkin lingered in the locker room after the Rangers' 5-1 loss Sunday night in Calgary, and clearly wanted to talk. He blamed himself.
"It's always hard, but I need to do my job,'' he said. "I need to give my team chance to win.''
However, since then Shesterkin has felt that he needs to put in 110% effort every time he steps onto the ice, which makes sense as his team and many fans expect him to perform at the highest level after securing that contract, one he definitely earned.
