New York Rangers star forward facing major backlash following controversial comments
New York Rangers star forward Mika Zibanejad found himself holding back comments after the Rangers had lost 4-0 to their rival the New Jersey Devils as the team tries to fight for their playoff lives.
Zibanejad spoke to the media where it was clear that the losing is taking its toll on him along with his teammates to which he states that he feels like a broken record when he makes his comments after games.

The Rangers hopes in securing a playoff spot continues to evaporate in front of fans eyes as the team remains four points behind the Montreal Canadiens who have been surging in the standings with four wins in a row.
Both teams have six games remaining in the schedule, but the Rangers face an uphill battle as their room for error continues to shrink.
Rangers season may bring significant change this summer
This Rangers season has been dreadful considering that this team was the Presidents Trophy winner last year and went to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Florida Panthers.
General manager Chris Drury may face a possibility of either firing his coach or potentially seeing himself dismissed as the expectations for the Rangers were to make the playoffs again and go on another long run considering how last year unfolded.
The Rangers will be at home on Monday April 7th to face off against the high-flying Tampa Bay Lightning who have just clinched a playoff spot this weekend. Game time will be 7:00 PM eastern
