The New York Rangers will have to secure a total of seven RFAs in the lineup, depending on how GM Chris Drury prioritizes them. But with the St. Louis Blues utilizing an offer-sheet to sign Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg, could defenseman K'Andre Miller be a target for another NHL team?

The New York Rangers currently have a cap surplus of $42 million, according to website PuckPedia.
While that money looks nice now, it'll be eaten away at slowly when Igor Shesterkin's new contract kicks-in, along with Will Borgen's contract, and Alexis Lafreniere's deal kicking in.
They will have to decide which RFAs to keep or trade, and K'Andre Miller could be one cap casualty in July.
According to Zoro Sekhon of NHL Trade Rumors, we should expect a rise in offer sheets, and K'Andre Miller could find himself given one.

K'Andre Miller

K'Andre Miller has put up disappointing numbers this season, posting only 23 points ( 7 goals, 16 assists) in 69 games with the Rangers.
His lack of production led to his name being brought up in trade rumors at the deadline. Fortunately for him, nothing had materialized, and he's improved his play after a terrible start to the year with a -9 rating, and 6 points in 30 games.
While he's only three seasons removed from his 43-point year under Head Coach Gerard Gallant, he still has plenty of upside that NHL teams could tap into.
Given the front office's lack of support for the defenseman publicly, it seems that if someone like GM Kyle Davidson of the Blackhawks were to offer-sheet the defenseman, Drury wouldn't match it.
The 25-year-old defenseman could fit into the team's rebuild timeline and find a fresh start in the United Center.
Can GM Chris Drury find a way to keep RFA K'Andre Miller past July?
