New York Rangers Star Defenseman Receives Ranking On EA Sports NHL26 That No One Seen Coming

New York Rangers star defenseman has been facing a ton of harsh criticism over the last few weeks in recent rankings and ratings, but now things have finally changed.
New York Rangers star defenseman Adam Fox has just received a very high rating during EA Sports latest announcement on social media regarding the upcoming new NHL26 video game.
Adam Fox was rated the second highest right-handed defender with an overall rating of 90, higher than players including Jaccob Slavin and Josh Morrissey in a tie for the game's eighth-best defender. As Miro Heiskanen (91), Victor Hedman (92), Roman Josi (92), Zach Werenski (92), Cale Makar (95), and Quinn Hughes (95) all rank higher.
Fox was given an 87 rating for acceleration, an 86 for speed, 93 for deking, 92 for passing, 89 for slapshot, and an 88 for wrist shot.

The NHL Network posted a take that could be considered massively disrespectful to defenseman Adam Fox of the New York Rangers. In their latest list, it consisted of the top 20 defensemen in the league, of which Fox was given #16. The former Norris Trophy deserves better.
However, this is just a video game ranking, and as we near the 2025-26 season it will be clear as to where Adam Fox truly ranks.
EA Sports NHL 26 is released on Friday, September 12, 2025, and those who pre-order a deluxe edition of the game will receive early access which opens up on Friday, September 5th.
