New York Rangers set to make significant roster move following latest update on K'Andre Millers injury
The New York Rangers organization is set to make a significant roster transaction due to the fact that this star defenseman will be returning to lineup amidst his ongoing injury.
The New York Rangers have finally hit the ice today for the first time since before the holiday break where they faced the New Jersey Devils and took an embarrassing 5-0 loss.
However, good news has came out of today's practice as Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller has returned to practice with the team after suffering an upper-body injury back on December 11th, and then placed in IR.
Miller left Wednesday's game against Buffalo and did not return for the third period.
So with that being said, as reported by Rangers insider Larry Brooks, if K'Andre Miller returns to the lineup then the New York Rangers will be forced to make a roster transaction and reassign veteran defenseman Chad Ruhwedel to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
The 24-year old defensman has played in 28 games this season for the Rangers, and has managed to tally two goals and four assists for a total of 6 points.
