The New York Rangers got a lot more than they bargained for in Matt Rempe. He's proven himself to be more than just an enforcer in the NHL, as he's brushed up his game this past season and has shown his ability to evolve. According to The Hockey News' Remy Mastey, he is now a Camp Counselor at MSG Training Center this offseason.

While Matt Rempe and Doug Glatt will never see eye to eye, as one person is a fictional character, Rempe, unlike Glatt, has been able to evolve.

Matt Rempe Displays True Leadership Qualities

Rempe has shown leadership capabilities, and his natural charisma has come into play as he's been a training camp counselor for the Junior Rangers program in the MSG Training Center this offseason.
Add this to his crowded schedule of taking part in the Shoulder Check Showcase, which is an advocacy group for Mental Health, and he's not stopping.
This is just a great glow-up for Rempe, who has been characterised as a brute in the NHL, has made honest errors, and continues to grow as a person.
He's doing it for the love of the game.
Rempe has been a fan favorite of the Rangers faithful, and so it goes, he finds new ways to grow the game as he's now leading a training camp for future NHL superstars.
Rempe signed a two-year deal with the Rangers totaling $1.95 million, the same as his linemate Adam Edstrom.
While Adam Edstrom is still recovering from his injuries in February, Rempe continues to put in the work.
Not bad for a former 165th overall pick (6th-round, 2020).
