New York Rangers fans have had enough as MSG erupts with chants calling for Peter Laviolette to be fired

The New York Rangers are quickly falling further and further away from the Wild Card and fans have had enough as Madison Square Garden is filled with «Fire Lavy» chants after losing to the Toronto Maple leafs.
Peter Laviolette was brought in to help take the New York Rangers and help develop the organization into a real Stanley Cup contender and last year he did just that as he helped the team to become the President Trophy winners.
However, this year has been the complete opposite as the Rangers have been struggling all season, and many believe that's to the choices Laviolette makes. One example being his choice to bench Calvin de Haan instead of Carson Soucy.

The New York Rangers ended up losing 4-3 to the Maple Leafs, but despite the close score the Rangers were dominated the entire game. Which resulted in the «Fire Lavy» chants considering the Rangers have now lost seven out of their last nine games.
"Fire Lavi" chants have begun. First time I've heard that this year.
Not only is it fans inside the arena, several fans have also voiced their opinions all over soical media, as they want Peter Laviolette fired as the New York Rangers continue to tank this season.
After being brutally out played and outshot 35-13 to the Calgary Flames in their last game, this was the complete opposite response fans were expecting from the team.
At this point something desperately needs to change, so that the former President Trophy winners can get back to playing like they used to.
