New insight has unveiled that the New York Rangers need to make a massive decision regarding a $81.5M star.
The New York Rangers organization will soon been facing a massive decision on the future of their star forward, Artemi Panarin, which can ultimately make or break this Original Six franchise.

Panarin will be entering his final year of his seven-year, $81.5M deal with the New York Rangers, leading to questions regarding what lies ahead for this Russian forward.
With that being said, an NHL insider, Frank Seravalli, has recently discussed how the New York Rangers must make a decision soon regarding whether or not they intend to re-sign or depart with their 33-year old star forward.
However, it is not an easy task for the organization to make that decision, as Seravalli revealed Panarin's value to the Rangers makes trading him unfathomable.
He states:
«Is Artemi Panarin one of the best free agent signings of all time? Like if you look at his contract, if you look at his AAV, if you look at his production, and how he also lifted the New York Rangers, from a team that was rebuilding to coming out of that really successful run of hockey for the team, it fit their cap picture.»
At the time Panarin signed the record deal with the Rangers, questions had surfaced regarding whether or not he would be capable of living up to his deal, however, six years later, those critics have been silenced.
Due to his impeccable gameplay and the Rangers' current standpoint, Seravalli continued by revealing he thinks New York will find a way to re-sign the 33-year old.
«I'd have to think that there's a way to work out a new deal for the breadman.» Seravalli added.
Although it is uncertain whether or not the New York Rangers will be capable of re-signing their star forward, Artemi Panarin, fans are extremely hopeful.
