The New York Rangers and Edmonton Oilers are currently battling it out at Rogers Place arena.
The Edmonton Oilers have been running a clinic on the Rangers for the first two periods of this game as they currently lead 4-1 as the second period comes to an end.
This is looking like a track meet right now and the #NYR don't have the horses to run with a team like Edmonton in that type of game.
The Rangers have been out-shot 41-13 in their past two first periods. They allowed 20 shots against Calgary on Saturday, when Peter Laviolette said they were out-worked, and 21 tonight.
The Rangers have only managed to get on the board tonight thanks to star forward Artemi Panarin, who got one by Stuart Skinner with only 4:58 remaining in the second.
However that is not the only impressive thing Panarin had done tonight, as early in the second period Panarin gets physical with Oilers star forward Leon Draisaitl.
The hit was quite impressive, despite Panarin putting much force into it! But it sure was a beauty as Panarin completely flattened Draisaitl.
