The New York Rangers' rookie showcase has been scheduled. The Rangers' top prospects will be facing off against their Metropolitan Division foes, the Philadelphia Flyers' own prospects, in a matchup in Allentown, PA, in the PPL Center.
The rookie series begins on September 12th, 2025, at 7:05 PM in Allentown, PA, at the
PPL Center, and will conclude on September 13th.
The series will feature Rangers rookies such as
Malcolm Spencer putting on the Blueshirt for the first time and competing against rookies like
Porter Martone and Jack Nesbiit.
Fans can get their first chance to see some of the exciting draft picks of the Flyers and Rangers recently selected at the NHL Draft in Los Angeles including Philadelphia first-rounder
Jack Nesbitt and newly-chosen Rangers talent Malcolm Spence.
This will be the fourth consecutive year the teams face off in Allentown, as the Rangers and Flyers keep their rookies close to home, unlike other teams who have in the past traveled to Traverse City to take on the Detroit Red Wings' prospects.
This marks the fifth consecutive season the Flyers will face off against the Rangers in the Rookie Series. Philadelphia's prospects hold a 4-3-1 record in the matchup.
Ticket prices have yet to be announced, but on the PPLCenter website, you can find the dates and times available for the 12th and 13th and get a good look at upcoming Rangers talent.
Malcolm Spence was selected 43rd overall in the 2nd-round of this year's draft class, their first pick in 2025.
Spencer will be joining teammate
Carey Terrance in Hartford in the future, as the Rangers' prospect pool continues to grow deeper.
