Longtime NHL General Manager drops massive hint as to where Mike Sullivan will coach next

Vancouver Canucks President Jim Rutherford dropped some truth on NHL punidits today, as he exposed where former Pittsburgh Penguins Head Coach Mike Sullivan could land. According to Rutherford, he'd ideally like to stay in the East, so possibly, New York?
The New York Rangers are i the cusp of a head coach search, after firing Peter Laviolette recently.
One name that's arisen as a result of the firing as a serious candidate for the role is Mike Sullivan. Sullivan, has won two back-to-back Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He's a Massachussetts born NHLer, and has connections to the Bruins, as Charlie McAvoy is his son in law. But connections alone don't infer much. For Sullivan, Ruthford is another connection who he's worked with in Pittsburgh.
But he's been a little bit more vocal about where he could land next. According to Rutherford, he spoke to Sullivan after he and the Penguins went their separate ways on Monday.
Rutherford and Sullivan were successful in Pittsburgh, as Rutherford was GM and helped build two Stanley Cup winning rosters for the team.
If he doesn't want to leave the East, we could speculate where he has ties to: New York and Boston.
While there's been no word of his interested in coaching a rebuild in Chicago, his name comes up alot when it comes to talk of Boston or New York.
The Rangers are a team who are in win-now mode, and could use a Head Coach who could push them the extra length required to win a Stanley Cup.
Sullivan already has two to his name and is an experienced coach in the league. He could be the one to help deliver the Rangers their next Stanley Cup.
