Line changes: New York Rangers projected lineups for upcoming game against the Colorado Avalanche
Taking a look at the New York Rangers projected lineup as they get prepared to face-off against the Colorado Avalanche.
Tonight, at 9:00PM the New York Rangers will take on the Colorado Avalanche in hopes to extend their winning streak to three games, after defeating the Golden Knights and Devils.
With that being said, New York Rangers reporter Mollie Walker of the New York Post has revealed the Rangers projected lineups, along with a few noticeable changes:
#NYR lines and D pairs at practice:
Panarin-Trocheck-Lafrenière
Cuylle-Zibanejad-Smith
Kreider-Chytil-Kaliyev
Edström-Carrick-Rempe
Lindgren-Fox
Miller-Borgen
Vaakanainen-Schneider
First noticeable change is
Chris Kreider and
Filip Chytil returning to the lineup, along with them being on the third line with
Arthur Kaliyev. However, it was confirmed that veteran forward Chris Kreider will return for tonight's game, but there still hasn't been any confirmation on Chytil.
It's likely that both players will return due to the New York Rangers power play units during Mondays practice:
PP1: Fox-Panarin-Zibanejad-Lafrenière-Trocheck
PP2: Miller-Chytil-Smith-Kaliyev-Kreider (Cuylle rotating in)
Good indication that Kreider and Chytil are ramping up to play tomorrow.
Along with that, head coach Peter Laviolette has also confirmed who will be getting the start in nets for the Rangers tonight, and that will be
Igor Shesterkin.
Just keep in mind this is just a projection, as nothing has officially been confirmed by the New York Rangers themself. Once we get the official confirmation we will be sure to keep you updated.
