Former Wolf Pack Coach Got His First Win In NHL Debut
The Edmonton Oilers were victorious in Kris Knoblauch's debut as their head coach, scoring a 4-1 win over the New York Islanders Monday night.
Kris Knoblauch was formerly the head coach for the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Steve Smith has been named interim Head Coach of the Wolf Pack. The Rangers are actively searching for a new coach for the team.
Knoblauch also has reunited with
Connor McDavid, whom he coached the Erie Otters in the OHL.
We are glad to see him win his coaching debut with his new team, especially if it's against a divisional rival of the Rangers.
We wish him well on his new career path!
