Former No. 1 Pick Avoids Pressure On Himself To Excel!
Alexis Lafrenière is maintaining the same level head he's had to have his entire NHL career.
The top pick from the 2020 NHL Draft have been putting up numbers this season, and has performed admirably.
He has eight goals and eight assists this season on what's been a breakout season for him!
His status as one of the most well-liked guys in the Rangers locker room has seemingly never wavered.
Rangers beat writer, Mollie Walker wrote about what Lafrenière told The Post earlier this week:
"For me, I don't really put too much pressure on myself. Just trying to play hockey and have fun. That's what I want to do. Just trying to stay consistent with my game and have fun out there."
Alexis Lafrenière is on pace for 27 goals, 27 assists for 54 points total for the season, all three stats would be career highs!
