Five players have been placed on waivers and there's options for the New York Rangers

The March 7th trade deadline is set to hit tomorrow, and the NHL will be buzzing with shocking trades and dramatic pickups. That said, teams around the league are in the process of trimming their rosters, and the waiver-wire is loaded with juicy freebies.
New York Ranger GM Chris Drury won't be getting much sleep tonight as the March 7th trade deadline is finally upon us.
While analysts aren't entire sure if Drury will be a buyer or a seller, you would be remiss not to acknowledge to current waiver-wire, with tons of potential talent the Rangers could scoop-up.
Waiver-wire heating up
Today, teams across the NHL dumped a bunch of talent into the waiver-wire, and Chris Drury has the opportunity to strike will the iron is hot.

The most notable move today came from Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving as he placed big enforcer Ryan Reaves on waivers.
Reaves has appeared in 35 games with the Maple Leafs this season, recording two assists and 28 penalty minutes. He had four goals and six points in 49 games last season, adding one assist while dressing in five of the team's seven playoff games.
I highly doubt that Chris Drury would touch Ryan Reaves, but he could be an intriguing option to add toughness into the lineup.
Regardless, the March 7th deadline will be a show you don't want to miss.
