Chris Kreider's Historic Chase for the New York Rangers Record Books

The New York Rangers own Chris Kreider is on a chase to put his name in the team's history books.
During the team's season opener against the Pittsburgh Penguins, he'd score two goals in the 6-0 route against
Sidney Crosby, and the Penguins.
Kreider is attempting to become the Ranger's leading goal-scorer, as he's swiftly passed through big names like Mark Messier, Adam Graves, and Vic Hadfield he doesn't seem to wanna stop producing.
Kreider's record isn't so ridiculous as he only has to produce 30 more goals to reach the likes of New York Rangers legend Jean Ratelle.
If he reaches 30 goals this season, he will reach the iconic Jean Ratelle, who currently sits at 336 goals with the Rangers. And if he can reach 100 more goals Kreider can sit pretty, and with another Rangers legend, Rod Gilbert.
Gilbert's records have stood alone for the last 40 years, but Kreider is determined to dethrone the Rangers legend in the record books.
It's not a matter of if, just when!
Kreider's ability to use his strength and size in the dirty parts of the ice, including in front of the net has given him unique abilities to add to his goal totals, with tip-ins, and deflections.
His 2nd home has become the blue paint, in MSG and he's cemented himself as a mainstay there.
Not only does he have size and physicality that add to his deep game, but his skating ranks in the 86th percentile of all NHL skaters, at 23.02 MPH in the 2023-2024 season.
He's a speedy shooter, who has a net-front presence and isn't afraid of getting physical. He's a prototypical power-forward, which any GM or Coach would love to have on their team.
If Chris Kreider can produce out of the norm, and score 30 more goals this season, despite a prediction of a decline in production, he'll be in the record books once again.
