NHL player safety reaches final decision on Matthew Tkachuk being suspended
The NHL Department of Player Safety has made a final decision on whether or not Matthew Tkachuk will be suspended.
During game four of the Stanley Cup Finals Matthew Tkachuk was involved in a controversial incident with Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid.
The NHL player safety has stated that Matthew Tkachuk will not face any further disciplinary actions and will not be suspended for jumping McDavid and delivering a few uppercuts.
The Edmonton Oilers completely destroyed the Panthers during game four, beating them 8-1. In their previous three games the Oilers were only able to manage four goals, and might have finally found a way to beat Bobrovsky.
The Edmonton Oilers still have a tough battle to face as they are down 3-1 in this series, and only one team has ever made this type of comeback in the Stanley Cup Finals, and that would be the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1942.
