Hockey World Left Mourning As Former Original-Six Goaltender Sadly Passes Away At 31-Years Old

The hockey community is left mourning as former Original-Six goaltender sadly passed away at the. young age of 31-years old.
The devastating news was confirmed on Friday night by his former OHL team, the London Knights, that Patterson had passed away.
Patterson served as a goaltender for the London Knights during the 2012 to 2014 OHL seasons. Where he was former teammates with a few NHL stars such as,
Max Domi and
Anthony Stolarz of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The London Knights took to social media to confirm the devastating news with a post on "X" that shared a heartfelt message for his family and friends.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jake's family, friends, and loved ones
Since the announcement of Patterson's passing multiple NHL friends have expressed their condolences, including Max Domi, a former London Knight, who was once his teammate, and
issued a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram."So many incredible memories with our team. You will be missed, Patty"
He was also a teammate of Anthony Stolarz and shared the net with him during his tenure in London.
Patterson played a total of 77 games with the Knights and finished his 2013-14 season there with a record of 22-9-3, 3.15 GAA, and a .897 save percentage. He played his last game in the GOJHL in 2014-15 with the Chatham Maroons, and finished with a .903 save percentage that year.
