It's become the great debate amongst NHL pundits and fans and Frank Seravalli of the dailyfaceoff.com made a statement today that he feels Nikita Kucherov should be the NHL MVP.
He was on a recent episode of the Spittin Chiclets with the MVP candidates being discussed between BizNasty and himself.
However, Seravalli brings up good points regarding Kucherov's standing amongst his teammates and the rest of the NHL as he is by far the best points production player currently in the NHL.
Many people especially in the Rangers camp feel that Artemi Panarin should be voted as MVP based on how he has produced for the Rangers and has helped numerous teammates excel including Alexis Lafrenière who has had a breakout season.
He was chosen as the season MVP by the Rangers team itself as he played all 82 games, scored 49 goals with 71 assists for 120 points and was a + 18.
