On a podcast Ryan Whitney and Paul Bissonnette discuss how the Vegas Golden Knights manifested their elimination in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Ryan thinks that the Vegas Knights started wrong from the beginning by signing older more experienced players and because of that, the team had no drive or passion during the regular season and in turn that created no burning desire to chase after the Cup in the playoffs.
There is no doubt that the Vegas Knights are a good team, but they don't have the spark other teams had all season long and it certainly showed in the last game they played against the Stars. Whitney also states that he thinks there were too many cooks in the kitchen implying that the team may have had difficulty with a united mindset and that caused the result the Knights got from this last game.
Fans are on both sides of the fence while some think this was not the case and that there were no cooks in the kitchen because a lot of the players are older, another fan thinks that they did have a fair chance to win but that the opponent was just better. Other Fans think that the Dallas Stars are just an underrated team and that they have been working on getting better, but no one really saw it until now that they beat Vegas.
I think Vegas is good, but I do agree that the Dallas Stars were just the better team in this case. Better luck next time Vegas fans.
