Not only in the top-six, but the blueline is where the team could find some talent to improve the Blueshirts. Of the

Four Pending UFAs Who Could Help The New York Rangers
The Calgary Flames defenseman's name was buzzing in trade talks earlier this season. But nothing manifested, and Anderson still remains a Flames player. Could GM Chris Drury find use for a grizzled defensive veteran who plays a two-way game? We think so.
While the Los Angeles Kings hope to re-sign Kempe, the forward's price tag has been rising. While the team hopes to ink him at a team-friendly $9 million AAV (average annual deal), he could fetch $11 million AAV, according to NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman.
"I think the Kings have to sign Kempe. The good news for them is I think he wants to stay there, but I also believe this has moved into a zone (i.e. price range) that the Kings didn't think they were going to have to go to."
With things going sour in the negotiation department with the Buffalo Sabres, GM Chris Drury could look to capitalize on GM Kevyn Adams' failings.
The former 79-point forward could find himself in a new home with the New York Rangers if he could pull away from the Sabres.
He has scored 11 points in 11 games with the Buffalo Sabres this season.
The team will have to utilize the trade deadline
or free agency to improve the team's luck in the future. Could one of these players help push the team in the playoffs once more?
