Jonny Lazarus interviews Colby Cohen regarding Vincent Trocheck's playoff impact and during this interview, Cohen certainly changed his mind after this last game watching Trocheck come in with eight points, four assists and four goals in only five games. Trocheck has undoubtedly proved that he is one of the New York Rangers' best players, taking advantage of the power play moment in the last game and being recognized as a GOAT for the New York Rangers. Cohen states that Trocheck has good habits around net and that he is great at both offensive and defensive play on the ice. He also said that Trocheck was a very valuable player and that is something I think everyone can agree on.

The New York Rangers now have six straight wins in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I think it's important to note that Trocheck's incredible performance in the last game couldn't have happened if it wasn't for Igor Shesterkin, the Rangers goalie. Shesterkin should also get credit for some amazing saves. Teamwork makes the dream work and the New York Rangers are a great example of this.

Fans commented that it was obvious that Cohen had not been paying attention to Rangers hockey this season as it was obvious that Trocheck was the team's MVP and that they could not have gotten as far as they have without him. Other fans agreed that this was the case and that Cohen continuing to refer to Trocheck in the past was an insult. I don't think that Cohen referring to Trocheck in the past is an insult, but I do think that it goes to show how closely he follows the team and I think it's safe to assume he doesn't watch much Rangers hockey.

Regardless, I think that Trocheck and the New York Rangers continue to surprise people in these playoffs, and I do not think that their winning streak is over or will be over anytime soon.
