Rangers Special Team Is Lethal In Every Aspect!
The Rangers have scored a power play goal in seven-straight games, their longest such streak since Oct. 5-22, 2009 (8 GP).
Check out the power play goal from
Artemi Panarin last night in the 4-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres!
The Rangers are the only team to have 5 players with 11+ power play points this season.
The Rangers are first in power play conversion percentage at 31.1. Equally as impressive is their penalty kill is just as lethal, tied with the Flyers for fourth with 85.7 percent, and just a hair under the Boston Bruins with 85.8 percent.
"I think we're pretty confident in it. Any time you can have a kill that you take the momentum back from the other team, I think that's huge and that says a lot about our kill. I think we did that there."
All around great performance from the team. Let's hope they keep it up all season!
