It's officially game day, with the New York Rangers facing off against the Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Finals tonight at 8pm.
This morning the Rangers held an optional skate at Madison Square Garden, and finally Ryan Lindgren made an appearance.
After missing three practices, one being an optional and the other two being full team practices. Fans were getting concerned as to why he wasn't showing but the team just simply said he was due to maintenance'.
Ryan Lindgren is on the ice for the Rangers optional morning skate at MSG. He has not skated with the team for the past 3 days. Sunday was an optional Monday and Tuesday were full team practices. He has missed because of maintenance, the team has said.
However, with Lindgren being on the ice this morning is a really positive sign for his availability tonight for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
After the morning practice reporter Vince Z. Mercogliano asked Lindgren if there's was any doubt that he would miss tonight's game, here's what he said:
Lindgren said he's fully good to go and feeling good. When I asked him if he ever had any doubt, he just smirked and said, «No.» #NYR
