This NHL season has turned out to be a fantastic one for the New York Rangers and it appears that the team is two games away from clinching the most wins in Rangers history in one season.

Even though the team stumbled a few times throughout the season, the Rangers have not faltered and have continued to build on their lead in the metropolitan division.
Through 77 games played, they hold a record of 52-21-4 for 108 points.
Their stats are excellent with a goal differential of plus 50, a home record of 27-10-0 and a road record of 25-11-4.
Rangers superstar Artemi Panarin Continues to lead the way with 45 goals and 66 assists were 111 points and is a + 17 other players including Vincent Trocheck, Chris Kreider, Adam Fox and Mike Zibanejad have been rounding out the offence while having fantastic defensive numbers all in high plus minus.
The team is also enjoying solid goaltending as Igor Shesterkin has found his legs and his winning ways and has dominated since in the second half.
He is also blessed by having a veteran goalie as his backup in Jonathan quick who has had a great season himself earning the most wins as an American goaltender in the NHL and a new contract for next year along with the bill Masterson trophy nomination.
With only five games remaining, the Rangers will have a chance secure this new record and potentially the President's trophy in the process.
