NHL Superstar Sidney Crosby reveals his true feelings about Mike Sullivan leaving the Pittsburgh Penguins organization and joining the New York Rangers as their newest head coach.
New York Rangers head coach Mike Sullivan had an incredible run with the Pittsburgh Penguins. As he served as the Penguins head coach for the last ten years and won two Stanley Cups during his legendary tenure with the Penguins.
During his time with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Sullivan truly developed some of the NHL's best stars, including Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, Jake Guentzel and even Sidney Crosby.
As many would agree Sidney Crosby was and is the best of them all, and someone who seemed to have a strong relationship with Mike Sullivan.
Sidney Crosby Reveals His True Feelings Following Sullivan's Departure
According to reports from Remy Mastey of The Hockey News, Sidney Crosby had nothing but good things to say about his former coach.
«He did an amazing job over the last 10 years here with his preparation and commitment to winning,» Crosby said. «Personally, he pushed me to be better every day, and I learned a lot from him.

Sullivan wasn't unemployed for very long, as the New York Rangers quickly agreed to terms with Mike Sullivan on a five-year, $32.5 million contract.
In return the Penguins hired former New York Rangers assistant coach Dan Muse, as Crosby will have to adjust to life without Sullivan.
