New York Rangers projected lineups against the Blues: Multiple roster changes confirmed
Taking a look at the New York Rangers projected lineups after Peter Laviolette's drastic change for their upcoming game against the St. Louis Blues.
Tonight will be an interesting battle between the two teams as this will be the first time the Rangers and Blues will face against each other for the 2024-25 season.
Like it was stated in beginning there has been some drastic changes made to the lineup:
#NYR morning skate lineup:
Panarin - Trocheck - Laf
Cuylle - Zib - Berard
Edstrom - Kakko - Smith
Vesey - Carrick - Brodzinski
Miller - Fox
Lindgren - Trouba
Jones - Schneider
Few noticeable changes being that
Brett Berard is slotting in for
Chris Kreider as he has been sidelined day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
The Rangers have recalled Matt Rempe from Hartford.
Per @vzmercogliano, Chris Kreider is day-to-day with an upper-body injury
The other noticeable difference being that Matt Rempe was called up to the Rangers this morning, but missed practice leaving
Adam Edstrom slotting in for practice.
However, reports have surfaced stated Rempe will in face be playing and Edstrom will be sitting out:
Brodzinski is staying on late with Chytil. That likely means Rempe will play tonight. #NYR
Finally it has also been confirmed that
Igor Shesterkin will be getting the start for the Rangers tonight:
Igor in net tonight, it seems #NYR
Just keep in mind this is just a projection, as nothing has officially been confirmed by the New York Rangers themself. Once we get the official confirmation we will be sure to keep you updated.
