Just moments ago the New York Rangers made the decision to recall 22-year old forward from he Hartford Wolf Pack, as fan favourite enforcer sustained an upper-body injury on Thursday night.

On Thursday night, Matt Rempe was involved in a very heated altercation with San Jose Sharks enforcer Ryan Reaves and was forced to exit the game early after sustaining an upper-body injury.
Resulting in the organization, to recall 22-year old forward Brennan Othmann from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
UPDATE: Brennan Othmann has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
An indication of #NYR Matt Rempe's status
Following the game, head coach Mike Sullivan provided an unfortunate update on Matt Rempe as he stated that he was being evaluated.

At this moment it still remains unclear if Brennan Othmann will be suiting up for the Rangers next game on Sunday night against the Calgary Flames, but certainly feels like Rempe's status is uncertain and another forward was needed.
Hopefully it's nothing too serious for Matt Rempe, but he take a few heavy blows to the head on Thursday night so it could very well be a concussion.
