New York Rangers must adapt their game plan going into Game 4 of Eastern Conference Finals.
The Rangers were lucky to escape their win in game 3 as the Florida Panthers push them to the brink with Igor Shesterkin holding the line as it became clear they will need to adapt their game plan going into Game four.
Head coach Peter Laviolette will need to look over his lineup and make some key decisions going into this game with change on his mind. The Rangers power play and special teams have gone silent and will need some tweaking as special teams seem to be the way to win these days.
The Rangers will also need more from their stars as players like Mika Zibanejad who has registered no points thus far in this series and Artemi Panarin who has no goals and only one assist through three games. It's vital that these players begin to produce as they have been the main force of offence throughout the season and through two rounds of playoffs.
As game three wore on, the Panthers seem to gain the upper hand and began to figure out the Rangers game plan. With their physicality and getting contributions from across the lineup, it's important the Rangers get back to their ways even though they're holding a 2-1 series lead.
The Rangers will get their next chance to make things right when game four is set to begin on May 28th and game time will be 8:00 PM eastern.
