A massive blockbuster trade proposal has just emerged that would see Vancouver Canucks superstar Quinn Hughes be traded to the Metropolitan Division.
During the Vancouver Canucks recent end-of-season interviews, President Jim Rutherford stated that a trade involing his top superstar and captain Quinn Hughes just might be inevitable, especially if contract negotiations start to break down.
'New York Post' insider Larry Brooks has even proposed a potential trade that would see Hughes be traded from the Canucks to join his brothers with the New Jersey Devils of the Metropolitan Division.

Jim Rutherford recently confirmed that the speculation of a possible trade about a month ago, by confirming that Hughes does want to play on the same team as his brothers one day. Either it be being Jack and Luke going to the Canucks or Quinn going to the Devils.
Not long after that, he publicly admitted that if a contract extension can't reach an agreement before the 2026-27 trade deadline, when Quinn will only have one year left of his deal, the Canucks might not having any other option but to let him go.

Certainly something that the Vancouver Canucks organization must take seriously, as they can't afford to lose a player like Quinn Hughes.
