Major development has surfaced as J.T. Miller and the New York Rangers face serious tampering allegations
Recently Rangers GM Chris Drury combined with the Canucks for the second time this year to add another solid addition to the blue line and traded for
Carson Soucy for a third-round pick.
Soucy will give the left-side of the Rangers defense some needed muscle missing. In 59 games this season he's scored only 10 points (3 G, 7 A).
Following the trade it was revealed that Soucy waived his no-trade clause to play on Broadway, a sure sign that he's already bought into the uniform. Next year the NTC will be reduced to 12 NHL teams, something GM Chris Drury considered before finalizing the deal here of course.
Major development has surfaced in the Rangers facing disciplinary actions from the NHL
According to a Canucks insider, Rick Dhaliwal, Rangers newly acquired forward
J.T. Miller reached out to Soucy and made «the big apple pitch to him.» Definitely something the league will look at as tampering.
JT Miller called Soucy and made the big apple pitch to him.
Now that the NHL trade deadline is a few days behind us, it appeared the New York Rangers or forward J.T. Miller won't be facing an consequences from the league as their has been further updates on the situation.
