Former New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba and the Anaheim Ducks paid huge respects towards Rangers legendary play-by-play broadcaster Sam Rosen.
Friday night, the New York Rangers faced off against the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center, and former captain Jacob Trouba and the Ducks GM Pat Verbeek would not let Sam Rosen leave his last visit to Anaheim empty handed.
As Sam Rosen confirmed at the beginning of the year that this would be last season as he announced his retirement.
Jacob Trouba spent six seasons with the New York Rangers before being traded to the Ducks back on December 6th. had a very special gift for Sam Rosen.

Before Friday nights game started, Sam Rosen met with Trouba and Ducks GM Pat Verbeek, where they gifted him a few things for his last visit to the Honda Center.

Jacob Trouba ended up gifting Rosen a painting he created of a faceoff dot under severely scuffed ice, which was featured in Trouba's "Landing My Mark" art show at Harper's Gallery in New York this past summer.
Along with that, Rosen, who will retire after being in the business for 40 years, was gifted his favourite bottle of wine and a Ducks jersey signed by the team.
