Former New York Rangers forward and first-round draft pick's 2025-26 season is now reportedly in jeopardy after receiving a massive hit from Tom Wilson of the Washington Capitals on Sunday afternoon.
On Sunday afternoon, former Rangers and now current Vancouver Canucks forward, Filip Chytil was forced to exit the game against the Washington Capitals after receiving a late hit from Tom Wilson near the end of the first period.
The 26-year old forward needed assistance from his teammates to exit the ice after the dangerous hit at centre ice from Washington Capitals controversial power forward Tom Wilson.
Tom Wilson lays a heavy hit on Filip Chytil.
Chytil went to the dressing room, and after review, there was no penalty on the play.
