Former New York Rangers forward Jesper Fast was injured while playing for his new team, The Carolina Hurricanes back in April 16th and has been wearing a neck brace ever since.
Many reports suggest Fast sustained a neck sprain during the incident, and even though the situation is very serious he's still doing his best to keep positive.
During 73 regular season games, Fast tallied up 6 goals and 13 assists leaving him with 19 points before his injury and also sustained 16 penalty minutes along with that.
«It's a neck injury you can probably see that»
Jesper Fast low key bringing some humour. But just a scary situation for him. Hope they can get it figured out!
Obviously being injured and not being there for your team throughout the playoffs is tough and frustrating, especially when you don't have many answers on the injury. But regardless of all that Fast seems to have a kept a positive attitude.
Fast is still waiting for a diagnosis on his injury, but he believes he'll be able to return to the 2024-25 season.
