Heartbreaking news surfaces in the hockey community once as again as reports surface from Canucks Daily on Thursday, as former Vancouver Canucks goaltender has sadly passed away at 63-years old.
On Thursday evening, reports also surfaced from the NHL Alumni Association that confirmed the heartbreaking news of former Canucks goaltender and former IIHF World Junior gold medalist Frank Caprice, who helped team Canada win their first ever gold medal, has sadly passed at 63-years old.
Several social media members such as Joey Kenward of Sportsnet 650 Radio, shared and confirmed the heartbreaking news, that former NHL goaltender Frank Caprice sadly passed away at 63.

Caprice was Vancouver's 9th Rd pick in 1981 Draft & would play 102 games with @Canucks from 1983-88

Frank Caprice was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks 178th overall in 1981 and went on to make 102 NHL appearance with them between the 1982-83 and 1987-88 seasons.

"The NHL Alumni Association is heartbroken to learn Frank Caprice has passed away at the age of 63.
A ninth-round selection of the Vancouver Canucks in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft, Frank made his NHL debut for Vancouver on February 24th, 1983, while spending the majority of the 1982-83 season with AHL Fredriction."
