Three names to watch out for at the New York Rangers development camp will be: Callum Tung, Gabe Perreault, and Evan Passmore. All three players showed up to development camp in order to hone their skills and show their team what they've learned in their time at college or in the juniors.

The next generation of New York Rangers arrived at development camp. Thirty-two players suited up in Rangers blue in order to hone their skills and receive important lessons to take back to the juniors, or college, or the foreign league in which they play.

Ages range between the players from 17 years old, all the way up to 23 years old.

Gabe Perrault

Gabe Perreault was selected 23rd overall in the 1st-round of the 2021 NHL Draft, and has already suited up for five games with the New York Rangers. Perreault still attended the camp, given that he's still 20 and considered a prospect.
He's won back-to-back gold medals in the IIHF World Championships with Team USA and would finish second in scoring in 2025 with 10 points (3-7). While he's not notched his first point as a blue shirt, the levee will break soon as he's created plenty of chances during his first five games in the NHL.
He'd join Jared Ortmeyer in a helper's role with the prospects at development camp.

Evan Passmore

Evan Passmore was selected 171st overall by the New York Rangers in 2025 and has quickly made the leap from Peacock Theater to development camp.
Passmore has a sizable frame at 6-foot-5, 212 pounds, and is a purely defensive defenseman, known for breaking up chances and performing shutdown duties.

Callum Tung

Tung is already active in the AHL with the Hartford Wolfpack. Tung's collegiate record is impressive with a 10-4-1 record, and a .933 save percentage, his 2.01 GAA isn't too shabby either. Tung joined 31 other players on July 1st and 2nd, taking part in the development camp, of which we see photos and videos circulating now.
