Rangers Kaapo Kakko turning the page on last year's playoff
The Rangers have given their fans a convincing game one of their round against the Washington Capitals. During a media scrum in between both games, Rangers forward Kaapo Kakko talked to reporters and explained what he learned from last year's experience.
The Rangers learned quickly from there embarrassing Round One loss last year against the New Jersey Devils. Many players did not want to repeat the same mistakes they made last year and with the team constructed differently and head coach Peter Laviolette at the helm, the team seems different and more determined to go the distance and try to get to the Stanley Cup final.
Though it's early in the series, the Rangers on paper are clearly the favorite and after their play in game one, it's hard not to see that.
Game 2 will be taking place on April 23rd and game time will be 7:00 PM eastern.
