New York Rangers GM Chris Drury reveals shocking offseason plan: Nothing is off the table

The New York Rangers general manager Chris Drury has lots of work to do during the offseason after falling short to the Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Final.
However, Larry Brooks from the New York Post, shared a recent statement from Chris Drury stating nothing is off the table,
«I do believe in our players individually. ... A lot of players had great seasons. A number of them have been very good Rangers for a long time. Now it's the part of the job to figure out whether this group collectively can get us to where we want to be. Nothing is off the table (according to Newsday's Colin Stephenson). We were talking about (Alexis Lafreniere) at this time last year and refuting rumors that I was trying to trade him. Kaapo Kakko is still a young player. We're going to continue to try and find everything we can do to help him reach his potential.»

With that being said, the Rangers finished the regular season and the NHL's top team, winning the Presidents Trophy. Chris Drury is really exploring all his options this summer to re-tool his roster.
The New York Rangers have a projected $11.3 million in cap space and a huge pending extension to come for Igor Shesterkin.
This won't be easy for Drury as the majority of his core players have a no-movement clause, and he doesn't seem keen on moving away from his younger core players including Lafreniere and Kakko.
One this is for sure, It's going to be an entertaining summer in New York and fans are excited to see the upcoming changes.
