New York Rangers Star Creates Franchise History While Surpassing Longtime Legend In Points

The New York Rangers have a future legend in defenseman Adam Fox. Today, with an assist on Vladislav Gavrikov's goal, he has cemented himself in the record books, surpassing legend Brad Park.
Last night, the New York Rangers finished their road trip on a positive note.
They won their final game on the West Coast road trip with a 3-2 overtime victory against the Seattle Kraken.
During the match, defenseman Adam Fox put himself in the Rangers' history books.
That assist on Vladislav Gavrikov's first goal as a Rangers put Fox into the history books with 380 points all-time by a Rangers defenseman after a total of 444 games played in the NHL. This surpasses Brad Park with (379).
This is a great start for Fox, who should have another career-defining season under new leadership in 2025-26.

Adam Fox has only won the Norris Trophy once, but has kept himself relevant in the discussion of the hardware on a yearly basis.
Despite last year's struggles, he still managed to put up 61 points (10-51) and looks to recapture the brilliance lost under Mike Sullivan.
«It'll be funny,» Fox told The Post on Friday after practice at Climate Pledge Arena. «I obviously played with him at NTDP and then played him once in college, and that was fun. It's more a little bit of bragging rights and stuff. It's been a while since I played against him. But, you know, he's great. We'll see him [Friday night], hang out with him. I mean, there will be - knowing Lin - no friendships on the ice [Saturday night]. It'll be fun.
It certainly seems as if Fox has all the claim to bragging rights in this ongoing battle between the two former teammates, who now play on opposite sides of the country in the NHL.
